a few days ago I asked whether people would be interested if I set up a
website that concentrates on adding a third pedal to the Thrustmaster NASCAR
Pro / Formula 1and how to use it as a clutch in GPL. The response was
unexpectively positive, so I hereby announce that the page will be available
THIS WEEKEND. Could be Sat or Sun, depends on whether I'll be able to get my
wife and child out of the house 8))
The link will be:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/***er/gpl.htm
This you'll find:
- a part list
- a wiring plan (easy to read!)
- instructions on adding the pedal w/ images
- calibration-instructions
- game-setup
- hints on driving techniques with replays
Don't expect this:
- T2 support. I no more have one, so before I spread any wrong wiring
information, I rather keep my mouth shut. I there's someone out there who
knows how to do it, drop me a line and I'll add the T2 to the list.
- Car-setups.
- Car sets
- ...or any other stuff featured on the many great GPL sites on the net.
The page will also include screenshots from the movie "Grand Prix" that show
the great work Papy did and a patch that adds new sounds to the sim
(nixfx2.zip, some might already have it).
As usual, the site will be "under construction" for a while, and if someone
has some experience with a clutch pedal in GPL, Viper Racing and/or GP2, let
me know as I'm planning to have a section with driving/setup tips from other
clutch-users (both pedal and buttons).
If you have any ideas on what you'd like to find on that site, send them to
me, but keep in mind that I'm not trying to set up "another" GPL site -
others did a way better job than I'd be able to, so the site will be limited
to explaining how to add that pedal and the driving techniques.

them."
