Yes!.  It would certainly be a great help. I would hate to reinvent the
wheel (opps I mean the pedal)<G>

Still in Minnesota, still not in NROS :-\. <--Which is OK, GPL is taking up
LOTSA time :-)!

Adding an analog clutch to GPL is awesome! I could set up a homepage with  a
simple instruction how to do this (on the basis of a NASCAR PRO wheel), but
I'm not sure how many of you would actually be interested. That page would
also include a section with tips on the new (and improved) driving
techniques that lay open once you got used to the "third pedal". I don't
have Viper Racing, but I believe that sim supports an analog clutch as well.

So - would you like me to do this (it would take me a week to do it
properly, though)?

Here's a short GPL replay showing a start at Mosport and the great advantage
an anaolg clutch offers:

That sounds great!

How is the 'feel' of an analog clutch? I never tried it, but it seems to
me that it must feel really weird.

I would be interested!  I had an Idea but don't know if it would work.
On my TM2 I have the Wheel, Shifter, and two buttons.  The buttons I use
for looking left and right.  I wos wondering if I could take a pedel off
of one of my spair TM1's or TM2's, Take the wiring off of one of these
buttons and connect them to the extra pedel?

Nope, that ain't gonna work. Patience, I'll have the homepage finished this
weekend and I will announce it on r.a.s. The T2 has a very upgrade-friendly
pedal-base, but the connection cable *could* be a problem. I can't promise
whether I'll be able to feature the T2 on the homepage as the wiring is
somewhat different, but I'll do my best to find that out. It's definitely
impossible to assign the clutch to the button-wires though, don't waste time
on that.

If you go to Spys GP2 page he has a section on how to install a clutch on a t2
and how to install gear control buttons on it as well. I did the gear control
and it works great.

I'm VERY interested.
