N4 Demo steering problem

N4 Demo steering problem

Ive just downloaded the N4 demo but am having problems with steering. The
first problem is the car always seems to want to go of to the left(i have
calibrated wheel numerous time) and the second being i dont seem to have
force feedback even though i have ticked it and tried adjusting damping etc.
Anyone help me on this

i remember the demo doing that & the response was "thats the way the real
cars behave". However, the full version does not have the same noticeable
pull. it may be just a demo bug.

well, i can tell you that nascars are set up to turn left, so need the
fronts angled slightly to the right to keep them straight.

set your linearity to near 100% and you wont notice it as much, but your
steering will be as sensitive as the real thing.  also get rid of camber and
caster so you have a symetrical setup, itll be slow as hell through the
corners, but easy to drive in a straight line.

cant help with the ff prob, sry.

Eh? sure it does.

To get more force feedback, you can also try increasing the caster in your
car setup.

your full version doesn't??? Are you driving in Arcade mode or what are you
doin'...? :) As I've heard it's normal and even planned that the cars pull to
the left, because of their settings optimized for left turns. And my one pulls
heaviliy to the left... :)

Eh?

The pull most certainly IS in the release version.  There's at least 10
billion complaints about it here.  Well, maybe 1000.  Would you believe, 100
?

Half of them are mine :)

Hmm, mine doesnt have near the pull. maybe its my new setup?
