N4 demo - steering wheel off-center

N4 demo - steering wheel off-center

Just installed the N4 demo, and though my steering wheel calibration looks
good, the wheel is off-center  (to the right) when driving down the
straight-away.  Any suggestions to fix this?  Is it a bug in the demo or
just a "feature" of the game?
My wheel is USB ActLabs FF.

Go to Watkins Glen or Sears Point and you'll see that the car goes straight
when the wheel is straight.  On ovals you may want to adjust for the counter
in calibration.

It is simulating the pull of the car to the left (as in real race cars)

It has to do with the setup.

As David said, if you go to a road course you will not really notice any
"pull" because the setup of the car is made for both left and right turns.

On a oval the setup of the car is setup with the "pull" to help the car
through the turns.

Does the full game have an option to turn this "feature" off?  It doesn't
seem right to me to have the wheel turned 20degrees to the right just to go
straight down the straightaway.  I might even understand if the FF pulled to
the left so that I had to hold the wheel centered, but that's not the way it
is.  At speed the FF centers the wheel to the right.  It's not just my
calibration 'cause I temporarily turned on the graphic wheel & it is turned
also.   Unless there is a way around this I'm not sure I want to buy the
full game.

No, but if I recall the full version was a little more relaxed than the
demo.
Give it a try, I got used to it fairly quickly, and it really helps the car
in the turns, especially turning in.
And if you still don't like it, you can dial it out somewhat in the car's
setup.

Using a 100% linear setting helps.  You really don't notice it after
awhile with FF turned on.
