Yea, and they are mostly pretentious, how artsy can we be if we try
really hard movies. You slag Gladiator, but put this stuff on a
pedestal? They use those movies for filler on TMN late at night.

Because a movie is not made in America, they are pretentious?  My god, you
need some help, FAST!  Have you seen the movies in my list?  How can you
judge them!  THey are found on a good majority of movie lovers (you know...
ART movies, not mainstream commercial movies)

  Because to most Yanks like me...ART = pretentious
I was blown away by CTHD  and not much else lately.
 The only movie I'm looking forward to is the Christmas release of the first
part of  Lord Of The Rings.

I don't watch movies that require  me to read text because I can't
spell too well.
