NROS - Screen Freezes

Bill:
I found two things on my computer that were causing screen cramps. One was
Norton antivirus. The other was a tcp/ip connection to my other computer.... I
switched my home network to run netbuei, and that took care of the screen cramps.

I had same problem just playing regular game. I uninstalled MAGNARAM
and the problem went away. I guess MAGNARAM was swapping between the
harddrive and memory causing the screen freezes.Hope this helps.

NROS - Screen Freezes

I had this happen as well...I figured it out.

My hard drive spins down after a period of inactivity ( a Green energy
saving feature). If a computer graphic was needed for a yellow flag or
accident and the hard drive was asleep, the screen would freeze and then I
would hear the hard drive spin back on and after 2-3 sec the screen would be
OK.

Just a thought...you can fix this problem by going into CMOS and changing
the settings.
