As far as I know, the DOS/Windows/Mac version of ICR2 are identical (you
can even use DOS carsets and tracks). There should be no difference. On
the other hand, early DOS-versions contain at least one bug which causes
problems for the first 15 minutes the program is running.
Are you playing with keyboard, joystick or wheel? Maybe the input device
behaves a bit different ... with keyboard you are especially lousy at
michigan (because you can't set the wheel lock lower than 5). I can't beat
229 ... 8^(
Another cause could be a different framerate. At higher framerate you can
drive more exactly which results in slightly better lap times.
Nascar for Mac is the same as Nascar1 for PC but adds the 96 season and a
better user interface. If came out _after_ ICR2/Mac and contains in my
opinion less bugs. I also get the feeling that the framerate is slightly
better. Also note that the Nascar/Mac-CD is not hybrid, it only contains
the Mac version.
I am definitely ***ed to both!
