Whenever I try to start Insane, ZoneAlarm pops up and locks up the
computer. Any way around this without disabling my firewall?

There is probably a way in the Zone Alarm options that lets you allow the
Insane executable to pass through ZA without ZA having a fit about it.

From my own experience, ZA is a program that in the future I will stay away
from.  It was as sensitive as hell, seeming to go off without much
prompting.  One time my daughter walked into my office while I was at my
computer, snuck up to me, and gave me a friendly scare.  ZA went off and
nearly melted my processor.

The program is bad, in my opinion: it won't let you do a thing but pay
attention to what it does (PR).  I'd suggest getting a router and trashing
ZA.

That's too funny.  Is this what they call scareware?
