Is there a "no cd" patch which will work in multiplayer? The one I have is only good for offline racing.

Yup now there is....Daemon Tools v3.32 will work with N2k3.  Keep in
mind Papy will probably issue a patch for 2k3 and that usually contains an
updated version of their copy protection.  So I don't know how long DT
v3.32 will be effective.

this is what you do,  rename you no cd exe to nr2003nocd.exe.
Have your original nr2003.exe  in the same dir.

launch game with no cd version,  when you  log on to  serria it will check
your proper .exe and not the no cd version.
You will still need a valid CD key,  don't think this is a magic way for
burnt copies to get online,  for that use onlineracin.com ,lol

enjoy

Yup, I use Daemon tools. I use version 3.29 though. I had to use BlindWrite
burning software to make an image that would actually work with N2k3. Now my
CD sits comfortably on the shelf, untouched and pristine and all I have to
do to run the game is hit the shortcut and I'm off and racing, online or
offline.

Tried this method and it has not worked for me. I did update the game via Sierra's update after installing the game.
Valid CD key is not a problem. But when I try to login to Sierra, it tells me that my game is out of date or has been modified.
If I go to Sierra to check for another update it has "nothing new to report".
I have a nr2003nocd.exe and the original nr2003.exe in the root directory. I launch from the nocd.exe and still get invalid game

Any ideas?

Why go through all the hassle, like it was said before. Go get blindwrite
and make an image on your harddrive CloneCD didn't work for me but they
might have updated it since then. Then go get Daemon tools and install the
Virtual CD software, make a virtual CD out of the image and just play the
game, online, offline, upside down, whatever..... It works, trust me.

I am having no luck with 3.32 or 3.29. It just won't run the dang game. Anything I may be missing?
