Thx, Dave. I will try again today. So far no luck.

  I made an image, .mds kind,  then I installed the updated Daemon Tools.  
I used that to mount the mds image then I was able to install the whole
thing from the image.  no cd required.

.......YES!!!!   This works might fine indeed!  Now I can leave my CD
in it's case and quit worring about my children using it as a coaster
while they play their games. Finally something that works without
wasting 10 perfectly good CDR's.
