I surpass all of that easily, but does GP3 use T&L at all? Kind of a
shame if it doesn't because T&L capable cards have been around for
quite a while now and it would give us with one a nice frame rate
increase if done right.

128mb is standard for running games now. Upping my PC to 256mb on
Monday anyway.

AFAIK no.

Ack, racing sims could really benefit of T&L...lots of polygons when
racing a full field.

I upped mine to 256Mb some tme ago, and quite frankly I see very little
difference. I believe it is to do with the way W98 manages memory. W ME is
supposedly much better.

<snip>

Not if the game's optimised properly. 95% of new games run fine on my
machine (Cel 400, 64 megs, V3).

Yes, I know, but it depends on the game and the fact is I had to buy
new ram to replace a bad stick because I couldn't wait for the
replacemnt to arrive. The ram I am getting on Monday is the replacent
ram. It's either use it or sell it. Think I'll use it.

Huh?  I have 128MB, and still have room for more(and higher capacity) RAM...
