Haven't seen this mentioned so here's what happened last night:
My friend and I did a 70-lap race at Michigan. By lap 33 I was running 5th
and my friend was 7th when he decided to pit for tires and fuel. Of course,
he was put a lap down in the process. Unlucky for him, a caution came out
just a couple of laps later and all the rest of us pitted. And this is when
the fun(?) started. By the time I and the AIs came out of the pits, my friend
and another AI car had passed me and were lined up right behind the pace car.
I come out of he pits running 4th, and my spotter tells me to pass (one at
a time) ALL the cars in front of me, including the cars that were a lap
down, and suddenly I'm right behind the pace car. And my spotter then informs
me that I'm in the lead!
So I'm wondering if Papyrus tried to implement Nascar rules on restarts so
that the cars on the lead lap would line up before the cars lap(s) down,
but forgot to tell the AI to do the same!
Papyrus, please fix this!
