Is there a patch for NFS2se?

I got it installed ok (I think).  But, upon startup, my cursor scrolls
wildly up and down the opening menu making it impossible to configure my
control settings so I can activate the joystick.

Anyone else have trouble getting this sim to work and what did you do to
fix?

Thanks

Hold down "TAB" and use the keyboard to make your selections.

The the internet update icon to update it, and recalibrate your joystick or
gamepad or whatever.

Well, it helps stabilize the cursor, but the TAB key also takes a screen
shot everytime I depress it, thus filling my desktop with dozens of .TGA
files which have to be deleted after game play. :-(
