Oh Yeah, LOOKS GREAT!!
Sounds terrible and the car feels like it is a 15 tonne lorry!!
GP2 anyday. Anyone actually got the cars to handle like GP2??? Can you
turn traction control OFF!!!!

Yea your right it SUCKS...dont buy it.....at least YOU dont buy
it.....that way we wont have to hear you crying.
For the rest buy it now. Then spend hours tweaking setups and enjoy
the best feeling of driving in a PC sim....
Damn I love this sim...its getting almost like Flanker for me and for
those who know that is saying an awful lot......its my highest
recommendation.

FWIW (and this goes for CPR, as well), grab a few good setups off the net
(or spend some time tweaking it yourself); it makes a WORLD of difference!
In regards to traction control, set it to "expert" and max everything out
(RTFM for specifics). Insofar as GP2 is concerned, forget what you know
(unless you've actually driven an F1 car); it's NOT GP2! Ubisoft modeled
their sim after F1 racing (presumably), not Microprose's interpretation of
F1 racing.

Well, looks better than a smack in the face with a steel pole;
s'allright, you know.
Calm down, calm down. You can turn traction control off, of course you
can. Can you make it handle like GP2, well first learn to drive it,
then, well you may not want to; after all if you really want GP2 there
is nothing to stop you having it for real - fire that little sucker up
and go for a spin.

Great I'm glad you don't like it. A friend of mine was asking
is anyone wants to sell their copy. So if you have an ENGLISH
copy, how about it? Are ya gonna sell it? I'm sure you didn't
pirate it, right?

Why would you want them to handle like GP2?

Perhaps you should read the manual......if you have one, of course.

A. read the manual
B. change car setups
If neither of those help you, sell it cheap to someone who will
appreciate what you cannot.
No way was it a pirate. It was the demo actually (he says sheepishly!).
Sorry!! So is that the only reason why your glad I don't like it!!!!!!

Ok. Excellent. Sounds good.
Yea, RTFM, no worries. Or did I burn it??? Hmm....
Insofar as GP2 is concerned, forget what you know
HOLD ON!! STOP RIGHT THERE DUDE! I've driven some very quick cars on the
track, not F1, but with only 200bhp less than F1 - ok, quite a bit heavier -
BUT THEY FEEL MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE LIKE GP2 THAN F1RS. Also I raced
high performance karts - "Closest thing to F1 I've driven" - Johhny Herbet.
Don't feel much like F1RS. With a wheel and pedals GP2 only lacks the
realism of wind noise and G force!!!!!!!!
Matt
Why ever would you want it to handle like GP2...??

The demo only?
And you base your whole opinion on the DEMO?
For gods sake....
>PAPA DOC
I'll admit I was very disappointed with the driving model of F1RS when
I first got it. The main reason is that I was expecting it to drive
something like GP2, which I spent a lot of time with.
It was really, really easy to lose the car and spin off, even with the
aids on. After lots of practice, setups from other people and some
patience, there's no way I could go back to GP2.
As of now it's the best racer I've ever come across, with a few minor
irritations.
Tony
Why on earth do you think any company would release a demo's? Could it
be so that people can form an opinion of what the whole game will be
like and make an informed buying decision? So will consumers expect
the demo to be representative of the full product?
Sheesh....
Cheers!
