With all of the recent controversy over the above, I can't resist
posting the following taken from the London Times last week, in an
article focussing on the ever greater  processing and graphics  power
of the PC, and the implications for sims and games in general.

" Today developer attention has moved on from graphics to other areas
such as game physics and AI (artificial intelligence)...."The key
industry buzzword now is 'smarter play'" says Victor Varney, director
of developer relations at Intel. "Developers are no longer content
just to improve the graphics of a game, they are now trying to model
worlds that behave in a realistic way. Right now games look good but
they don't act right" he says.  "

and so on.

We live in hope !
