OK for whatever reason Papy has set the game up to prohibit running of
"Licensed" (aka real life non-fictional) cars online.

I have downloaded numerous cars from different sites but only a few of them
show up as available online selections. What I haven't figured out is why I
have seen these cars in online races yet they aren't showing up in my
multiplayer list.

Examples: I have run in online races with the #2 Miller Lite, #8 Bud, #29
Goodwrench etc. All showing up in online races because other players and
myself have the same car files in our game. Why don't these cars show up as
available selections for me in multiplayer??

The process to make a "licensed" car, aka...Winston Cup car....show up as
"available" for MP selection is a complicated process (hack), but it has
been posted here several times. Do a search through this newsgroup
postings, you'll find it. The instructions are quite long....and because of
this, you don't see it listed every day when someone asks this question ( if
not every day....at least it gets asked several times a week). You will
need to read the N4 manual....and be totally familiar with the functions and
process of the N4 "Opponents Manager"...before attempting to learn how to
"hack it".....so that would be a good start.....then follow the directions
for making Cup cars available for MP player selection.

go to deja.com which has been bought out by google.com and you should
