Hello,

Last night I solved the exact problem you are stating. Now our situations may
be different and I'm not 100% certain what I'm suggesting is the correct
solution. But let me say I did everything except change the motherboard, and I
didn't do that because I have another machine with the exact motherboard and
it works.

Here goes.

Is your system brand new?

If so, you probably have the newest version of Win '95, ya know the one with
Fat32.

Well the system I was having troubles with was the only system running the
newest version of '95. I eliminated everything down to that version being the
problem with N2 through '95.

Last night reformated and Fdisk'd that pc and installed the regular version of
'95. Wala the stick is working again. Now all my machines are running the same
version of '95. Life is good.

Again I can't say 100% for sure the new version of '95 is the problem exactly.
But there's no doubt what I did, fixed my problem.

If this isn't your problem then...

Does the controller work through '95 with any other program?

If yes, then reinstall Win '95 again. Yeah I'm talking complete format, the
works.

If no, then you have a config problem in '95.

Hope this helps.

I installed an Intergraph Reactor card two days ago and with the help
of Eric Busch got everything up and running.  My latest problem is
when I access the game from the Win 95 icon I get all the way to the
track and my controls are no longer valid.  Instead of the
Thrustmaster wheel it says the keyboard is operating the game.  I cant
even calibrate the Thrustmaster.  I have to go into MS DOS mode and
calibrate the wheel there.  The game then works fine and everything
looks great.  If I turn the machine off and then go back into Nascar 2
I have the same problem with the controls.  It would be easy to say
forget using the Win 95 version, but if you want to be in the NRL you
have to use Win 95.  I have the latest Reactor BIOS and Reactor
drivers.  I also didnt notice this problem until after I installed the
Rendition version of ICR 2.  Any help will be appreciated.

You wouldn't by any chance want to sell one of those copies of Win95
OSR2 would you?  I'd love to get FAT32.

I am sure this worked for you, but I clear the exact same problem by just
removing and re-installing the Microsoft Joystick drivers.  Couldn't hurt,
and much quicker that re-installing Win95.

I encountered the same thing, for some reason you need to go back and
reset up your "joystick" in Win95's Contral panel.  For some
unknown reason, this seems to have gotten trashed when I installed the
Reacter card.

REPLY:

I take this is in regards to my joystick troubles I had.

Well FYI I did what you stated above to no avail. I did that aprox. 20 times
with different drivers as well. I tried different hardware ect. I reinstalled
the FAT32 version of Win '95, still no go. Only until I installed basic '95
did the stick work.
