Has anyone used one of these?? Want to buy new wheel, for split pedal
for GPL and force feedback for NFS3 and F1RS and Viper Racing. Any
"feedback" would be appreciated.

Im not too sure if I just have a bad wheel or not.
Im going to change it tomorrow,  but I cant recommend it for non FF games
(GPL)
The movement is very imprecise and feels all the time like the cables
driving the motors are slipping.
Like I say I get a new one tomorrow so I will know more then.
This is what I posted yesterday but nobody replied.

Well  I installed the new wheel yesterday to replace my Nascar PRO.
All I can say is horrible!
In GPL the wheel doesn't self centre anymore (ok no biggie). But the
biggest gripe is the turning motion of the wheel.
It just feels really stiff and unpredictable. Sometimes it's easy to
turn and then it hits a stiff part of the turnig circle etc etc.
Do I just have a bad wheel? Does anyone else have the same problem?
I wish I could have felt the turning of the wheel before I bought it but
I just assumed it would feel the same as the Nascar PRO.
To slap my face even more why does the Microsoft wheel feel so good even
with no FF enabled?
All comments welcome :)
Paul..

Feels like you're fighting slipping/grinding gears whether its powered on or
off.   I've tried the Logitech, Saitek, and MS FF wheels in the past week and
I hate to say it, but I'm buying the MS wheel.  It was very precise and the
FF effects were good.

Yep I have to agree :(
I spoke with the bloke who sold it me and he says that the one his friend has is
very good etc etc.
But yes the "slipping/ginding" gearts effect is pretty bad.
It's a shame that thrustmaster didn't try it out first :(
Oh well Ill hopefully get a new one tomorrow so we will see.

I was waiting for TM to make a FF wheel for over a year and when they finally
did it had SO MUCH bad press SO FAST that I "steered clear" of that wheel.

I HIGHLY recommend the MS Sidewinder FF wheel.  You can read my full review over
