Thrustmaster Force GT Problems

by Knut B. Clausse » Wed, 24 Feb 1999 04:00:00

Hello!

Is there anyone out there having any experience with the TM Force GT wheel?

I`ve just bought the wheel and when I`m using force feedback in Colin McRae
it gets really jerky during playing, this also goes for Need for Speed III.
NFS III was playable but CMR was NOT.

Is the wheel very resource demanding? or is this a software problem?

I have connected it via the USB.

I have a PII 400Mhz with 128Mb Ram
Voodoo2 SLI mode.

I appreciate any respond to this message...

Thanks!

Unfortunately Knut the Thrustmaster ForceGT is what we in the technical know
how :) refer to as a "lemon"
Basically it is probably the most ill manufactured POS that they have ever
produced.
Check the discussion board at http://www.force-1.com there you will see.
I have owned 3 FF wheels the TM was the first ( I wanted the stick shifter) I
exchanged it for the Logitech (bad return to centre bad pedals)
I now have the Microsoft and am VERY happy with it. So my advice is to take it
back to whatever joke shop you got it from and change it.
Paul..
