My friend painted his car, but now he wants to use that car for multiplayer.
No matter what we do, we can't seem to get that car back in the roster so
that he can select it for multiplayer. Is there a way to do this.

Why can't you use the same car for multiplayer and offline?

Something's being done wrong, hard to say what.  You can use the same car
for both off/online.  First, make sure it's a .car file, and if so, note how
it's named.

You can use the same car online and offline.

By chance was his car file created based on a Hendrick car? The original
Hendrick cars won't show up for online play. I assume its a legal thing. The
quick fix would be to just export the paint scheme and create a new car file
and import it back in.

Ahhh... that must be it. I'll try your suggestion. Thanks for the tip.

Someone mentioned that the Hendrick cars don't show up for online play. I'm
going to try MadDawg's suggestion to export and create a new car.
