N2002 multiplayer end of race stats?

Although it mentions this somewhat in the readme, I don't completely
understand the ratings given at the end of a race.  Would some explain the
following?

incidents and points are self-explanatory...
you have a rating based on our performance on each track type
average: the avg of the best 8 out of the last 10 races on that track type(RC, ST, SS, SW)
