Need T2 adapter for win 95!

by Sam Howe » Sat, 21 Jun 1997 04:00:00

Help!  I received a T2 as a gift several years ago and just purchased a
Compaq with win 95.  I had previously been using win 3.1.  I noticed that
the materials received with the T2 indicated the need for a special
adapter to allow the T2 to be used with win 95.  It seems that win 95
must have both the steering wheel and the pedals on the same joystick
position on the game card connector.  The insert indicated that a free
adapter to alleviate this problem was available by calling Thrustmaster's
Service Dept. at (503) 968-3411.  I called this number and received the
standard "this number is no longer in service....".  I am sure this
problem has been dealt with long ago in newer T2 sets.  I am always slow
to adopt new technologies.   I have N1 and would like to take
it for a spin on my new "high performance machine with win 95."  Does
anyone know how to reach Thrustmaster Service or alleviate this problem?

Thanks,

Sam

Contact the Service Department at the Thrustmaster website
(www.thrustmaster.com). You'll probably have your adapter within a week.
