NROS-T2-WIN 95 -Calibration

Anyone else have trouble calibrating their T2 AND keeping it calibrated
on NROS? I also believe I have noticed the problem when running the sim
from Win 95 alone. I normally run it from DOS and never have a problem,
but since TEN/NROS requires Win 95 I've noticed it a lot.

The problem: I ALWAYS have to calibrate the T2 when a game starts. If I
don't, the car will spin in it's stall, hit the wall, etc.... IF the
calibration would cure it then it would be no problem BUT sometimes when
I go to the N2 calibration routine the 'indicators' are 'dead'. They
will move with the wheel and MAYBE get close to center but they don't
respond like normal. The 'car' will then have really bad response,
slowly weaving and sometimes not having full acceleration.

SOMETIMES, I can exit the game and use either the Win95 calibration (The
new one installed by DirectX5) or use the ProPanel and it will be cured
if I re-enter the game on-line. Not always! I'm not sure if the win95
calibration is doing anything or if it's just the relaunching of the
game that does it.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

I had the same problem and believe it's due to latency problems.  Doesn't
make sense... but when I switched to a better arena, the problem went away.

Though I only have a  CH Products Virtual Pilot controller (hey, it
works pretty good)...I too have encountered this problem every single
game I try to enter.

The scary thing is, a lot of the time I cannot calibrate my controller
at all!!!  If I go to DOS after being frustrated with it, it works
fine.

you should be posting these controller probs on the TEN newsgroup if you
want to make sure Papy sees it!
