Where are the real physics in N4?

Ok....I just got N4 and set it up and took a few laps. The physics felt like
I was driving 'pole position'...ahh, check back in the controller section
and I find some stuff to turn off antilock brakes and all that - so I head
back out to try a few more laps.

A little better but this is no GPL - not even Heat if you ask me. Am I
missing something?

-I can literally do 175 down the back stretch at Daytona and take the wheel
and trust it right and into the wall. I get that silly little scraping noise
and my car bounces right back. (yes, damage is set to real)

-I can do full speed down the straight away and rip the wheel from side to
side - yet the car never looses control or traction - and I don't care how
much a race car is supposed to have grip it wouldn't hug the ground like a
slot car.

-I can lay my car on the apron almost sideways coming out of the 4th turn at
C***te or any other track for that mater and all I get is this silly slow
down (hmmm, like MGPRS2's grass effect) and almost no bump or jarring. (oh,
but I do get this bouncy bouncy bouncy ride on all the straight-aways.)

Please someone tell me where are the other settings? This cannot be what you
people are saying is the new king of sims. Even that***pit view is
laughable - I don't see why everyone is having fps problems since it only
has to draw about 1 freakin' 10 of the screen at a time.

Sounds like you're set to arcade mode.....

I think you might be in arcade mode. I can attest to the fact that turning
the wheel side to side even slightly at 175mph will send you skidding off
the track (and right into my own pit area, killing several of my pitcrew -
funny, the others didnt even flinch!)

when you click on testing or single race or whatever and you go to the track
selection screen, on the upper left side you will see a choice between
arcade and simulation ...

A great deal from where I'm standing!

Have your doctor change your medication. The MAO inhibitors aren't working

Sorry to confuse.
