The pedal travel is too short. Basically the analog pedals are almost digital in
operation because there is not enough range of motion. Not a problem in an
arcade game, but in something like GPL they are hopeless. Logitech should modify
the pedal designers road car so that the gas and brake have one inch of travel.
It is really a shame because I don't think it would have to cost a nickel more
to manufacture a pedal design with more travel. Some have noted that the pedal
springs are a bit soft, but that is a secondary problem which can be easily
fixed by retrofitting Handyman springs from Home Depot.

I like the wheel so much that I will keep it and rewire the thing to my T2
pedals.

The pedals are not quite as bad as I feared they were. The travel is very
short, and they do need stronger springs, especially on the brake. They are
usable however, and the Wingman control panel does help somewhat.

All that said, I wired in my CH pedals very quickly. The wheel is very nice
though. And despite just being a pot, all the calibration is rock solid,
including my CH pedals which used to have that nervous numbers like all pots
seem to. There are electronics in the wheel that obviously must stabilize
things somehow.

The pedals move in more of an up-down motion rather than forward-back.
But it's supposed to aid in keeping the pdeal base steady too, so I
guess its a bonus. Besides, when you're at your desk, your feet would
easily work pedals that are more vertical anyway (think about it, I
did, and realised how much easier it would be)
The movement is also quite short. And some people don't like the
springing. Apparently its quite easy to stiffen them up though.

I havent used the pedals, so I am only telling you what others who do
have the wheel have told me.

I have the Logitech FF Wheel and pedals as well as the CH Pro pedals.
Could you explain a little more in depth on how you wired the CH pedals in
with the Logitech wheel?

Thanks in advance

They feel like they were manufactured by Fischer-Price or Mattel :)

They don't have a real pivot point.  They go up and down.  Like an 18
Wheeler, in a way.

I found them horribly uncomfortable.

It's a shame as the wheel feels great.
