Hi Steve,
I dont think you can use d3d with the demo, although I thought you could run
it at 1024x768 with the voodoo. The "game" is only a fiver now, you can
definitely run it at 1600x1200 using the d3d patch and the latest version.
It is well worth the fiver :)

Fair enough. I'm having trouble finding it in the Uk - do you know of
anywhere?

Remember this is quite an old game - 3dfx and rendition cards originally.
for the full game, you can download a direct3d patch from
http://www.papy.com to use newer cards. Don't know if that helps with the
demo though.

Yep, I saw that patch but I rather assumed that the new version of the
demo would be pre-patched. Apparently not ;)

IIRC this version has all the latest patches right on the CD, which is kind
of very convenient :)
amazon.co.uk will do you the Sold Out version for 4.99 + p&p (they
