Nascar 3 & 4 vs. Geforce 2

by Rabon » Mon, 24 Dec 2001 02:16:15

I just replaced my Voodoo 3 card with a Geforce 2 MX400 64mb card, and found
that the graphics on N3 now suck. Is there a patch or anything that can be
done to make the Geforce 2 compatible w/ N3?

Is there a similar issue here with N4 as well??

Thanx!!

Thanx!! It's working a lot better using D3D. But the screen motion appears
to be choppy (compared to my old Voodoo card which had very smotth motion).
Also, using D3D, when using
the menus, the mouse cursor motion also acts choppy.
Any other ideas (Visiontek geforce2 mx400 64mb pci)??
Thanx,
Ron

Have you tried OpenGL? Most with that video card seem to do better
with OpenGLin N4, from the posts I've read. I know that is true in my case.

AMD Duron 750 w/GForce 2 mx 400 - AGP.

Aha!! I discovered that my problem was a driver issue. So, the choppy video
went away when I changed the driver and now all is well.
Thanx!!
