OK, the racing series has finally arrived.  So now I have to learn how to
configure my system to run well in Win95.  (This might be impossible).

Question #1:
Do I have to reinstall N2 in windows for it to run more efficiently?

Question #2:
I have a Sreamin' 3D Video Card, do I have to re-install the univibe driver
to run more efficiently in non-redition mode?

Question #3:
When I run the game in Win95 using the command N2rend.bat, the game errors
out.  I don't know why.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Question #4:
Does the video settings in Win95 (i.e. 800x600 - 16bit) have any effect on
the game itself when running?

Computer specs are as follows:

Pentium 133
16 megs of RAM
Screamin' 3D video card
Soundblaster Awe64 Value sound card
PCI motherboard with 256 cache

Renddma runs fine in dos mode but not in Win95.  I know that NROS does not
support rendition at this time but I read that I will in the near future.
Anyone have any comments for me?

I would recommend you delete N2 and do a clean install of the game and
patches from win95. Be sure and save any custom setups or cars to a diff
directory first.
I would not install the univbe driver with the screamin 3d card, I have the
same card, and run fine in non-rendition or rendition without univbe.
Put a shortcut on your desktop to run the game with the "renddma.bat"
command, I don't believe "n2rend" takes advantage of your dma buffering.
I do not believe they do as your actually running in a dos window. They may
have an effect on Ten by maybe taking up more of your memory, just a guess
on my part there.
Also, seriously consider adding another 16 meg of ram if you can.
Hope this helps,
