LWFF dead zone?

LWFF dead zone?

by Cadsh » Mon, 27 Dec 1999 04:00:00

I have a difficult time keeping the car on the track in CART Precision Racing.
Iread earlier that there is a utility to reduce the size of the dead zone at
the center of the wheels travel. Would someone please tell me how to get this
utility?

Also in Powerslide the steering does not work at all and the throttle works
backwards. I have installed the Powerslide profile that came with the wheel but
it still acts the same. I am using DirectX 7.0. (4.07.00.0700) Any ideas?
Thanks,
JackD.

LWFF dead zone?

I'll reserve my comments about CPR<g>.

Get the DX Tweaker from the Wingmanteam site:
http://www.wingmanteam.com/Latest_Software/Gadgets/gadgets.htm

Also, try shutting off the LWFF software before entering your favorite sim.
You can't use the cool features of the profiler, but the software seems to
introduce a deadzone of it's own which the DX Tweaker does not eliminate.

Get DX 7a, it has improved support for FF devices and it may help with your
Powerslide problem.

Good Luck!
