I'm a fairly new GP2 driver with a TM GP1 wheel. I experiment with
steering settings a lot (in "Control Methods, Advanced" menu), but still
haven't found settings I like.  Would anyone like to share info and/or
insight? Reply here or via email.  Thanks.

The default settings seem to be the best.  But take off steering help and
leave on opposite lock help.  This allows you to steer where you want to
steer but gives you a chance when you lose traction.  I've tried fiddling
with the other settings like Max Lock and Sensitivity but I've found that
the default setup works best for me.

You know, with opposite lock on, you get actually get to opposite lock your
car and manage to save it.  Without it on there is no way to save the car.
And when you watch a replay of yourself saving your car it actually looks
like the real thing.  You still have to provide the inputs.

By chance I drop in on this thread and here he is - good ole opposite
lock boy. ROFL. I'll bet you surf on a knee board too don't you? And
I'll bet knee boards are a better simulation of surfing than those
boards you must stand on aren't they? LOL.

Knee boarding is much too advanced for him.  He's obviously
a boogie boarder :)
