Last OT post for awhile but I've just got to say SPEEDVISION is awesome
right now.  I don't mean to gush but jeez. In the last month we've got the
full DTM, BTCC, Aussie V8, FIA Sportscar and the 2001 WRC.
Now they have same day coverage of the WRC five nights in a row (prelude and
wrap-up on Thursdays and Mondays). I'm running out of tapes (and time).

Is this the last gasp of a Golden era or the beginning of a new one?  I'm
awaiting Feb. 11 with baited breath.

  Speedvision often ran Euro events during the winter dolldrums.  However in
the past they would be repeats of races they had already shown over the
summer.  This year we didn't get any FIA Sportscars, or Touring cars.  So
they are cramming it all in.  I suspect we will see more of this next year,
but don't count on too many series that aren't already signed up.  Most
likely this summer will be full with the lower Nascar Escholons, CART, AMA
Superbikes, ALMS & Grand AM& Trans Am and FIA Cycles.
