ARG!!!! I just got my track pack today and was practicing at C***te to get
in the mood for this weekend's race. Comming outta turn 4 I heard a loud
BANG! and now the accelerator is stuck wide open.
It appears that the spring under the accelerator pedal finally gave up. Could
some kind soul please post Thrustmaster's phone number? I have read numerous
posts about how helpful they are at fixing busted T1s.

I once did a real IICC race with my T1 in this condition. I just remapped
the methanol pedal to the left pedal and put the brakes on the top button
of my console. Of course you're not likely to do very well with this
configuration on a road course, but I ran a pretty good race at Milwaukee
this way, and I rather imagine that you could do it for NASCAR too.

This is obviously a common problem, and I know the solution appears to
be the inch thick block of wood under the pedals, but is there likely
to be a new design produced?

A new design has already been here for a few months now, however,
there are still a few older units out there.

Thanks, as you already know I have sent you the e-mail. I just wanted to let
everyone know how fast and efficient you were at getting the part to me (which
arrived today). Installation was pretty easy.. and I'm back to racing with
both feet...
