NFS3 Mouse Problem

I have a Logitech pilot mouse with a wheel which NFS3 seems to
have trouble with on the main menus - the mouse pointer on screen
leaps about in frantic fashion whenever the device is moved.

This means using keys to navigate around - anyone familar with NFS3
will appreciate this is a pain giventhe format of the screens.

The mouse s set up great for Win95 itself - any advice?

before running NFS3, from the desktop, do a ctrl+alt+del, end task on file
EM_EXEC (the logitech mouse enhancement software) , run NSF3, notice
non-erratic mouse function, race.
