Has anyone had a problem with etremely slow cdrom access for nfs3? The
installation took forever - about 20 minutes for a typical install! (and
I have a 32x Mitsumi). Also the access during the game is very sluggish.
I have not encountered this with any other games to date.

No problem on this end, Fred. I have a 24x CD Rom, K6 - 2 300, 12 meg
CL V2 and I've done the full install on NFS III. Runs as smooth as can
be.
