Does anyone know where I can get this game?  Also what are the
requirements for running it?

Hmmm... I don't know for sure, but I think your best bet would
probably be to check at a software store.

Yeah, that's kinda hard to answer but I think Brad is right, try a
software store.  I've heard they carry stuff like that.

I have the disk version, which will only allow play in VGA mode.  I will sell

 TSK TSK  Thats a no-no

The Sim can be purchased at almost every software retail store and at
all mail order outlets.
Some mail-order dealers are selling the SVGA version for under $30.

Uhhh, tough question.  Maybe Egghead or Software Etc. could help you locate
it or you could always oreder it from Papyrus

As for hardware you need the equivalent of a low end Silicon Graphics
workstation.  That equates to a high end Pentium, very high end (p120 with
16MB).  (I know comparing a high end pentium to low end SGI system is a vile
and despicable insult to SGI and I apologize to SGI for it).

No true,
I am running NASCAR on a 90 MHz Pentium and it runs just fine.  I know several
people running NASCAR on a 486DX4-100 with 16 MB of RAM and it too runs fine.  The
video card is the big one to watch out for as well.  I would recommend an ATI Mach
64 PRO Turbo, or an accelerated S3!

Definately not true!  I'm running it in SVGA mode with 20 cars in FM sound
on a 486-66 with 16 megs RAM and it works just fine.

You're DEAD WRONG on this one. I'm runnin a P90, Intel Neptune mboard,
16mram, Diamond Stealth 64 pci dram, SB16.  HARDLY state o' the art.
I run in HiRes, ALL OPTIONS ON except track and grass, 35 car field,
10 ahead, 3 behind, 3 heard, digital sound.  Yes, SOME chop...depending
on track, but HIGHLY playable.  My top laps compare with, and BEAT,
MANY times posted in this group, and that INCLUDES folks w/100, 120,
and/or overclocked cpu's.  The gist of your post is nothing new...
its time to upgrade from that 486/33, or WHATEVER other obsolete system
you're tryng to run Nascar on...AND/OR get some driving/setup lessons.
Dont blame/flame the folks at Papyrus for 'pushing the envelope'...
(Hell, more power to 'em...)  Computer hard/software technology is
advancing by leaps and bounds, almost on a DAILY basis sometimes,
either 'go with the flow' or quit whining and stick to Turbo Outrun
and Nintendo games. Please feel free to post/email for setup/driving/
upgrade tips, should you decide to REALLY get involved with the
greatest racing sim EVER done for the PC.  IMHO...D.

Unless you have some money to hand out to everyone, don't insult people
for the computer they have.

While I wouldn't advocate flaming Papyrus, I don't see the need in making
the next generation of games requiring a desk cray.  The problem is, most
of us can't afford to upgrade every six months just to play the latest
game.  If productivity packages required p5/133s then it would make sense
to push the envalope more.  But they don't.  The 486/33 I have can handle
all the business programing you can throw at it (perhaps not quite as
fast, but only in racing is another second so critical), but not the
latest in *** programs.  So, if you are rich enough to upgrade the
world, then I'd suggest you do it.  Until then, enjoy what you have and
don't look down on those who can't (or won't) upgrade immediately.  (BTW, my
*previous* computer was an Apple IIe!)

Whether folks can't (or won't) upgrade to meet the inevitable
advancements in *** technology is certainly none of MY business.
To each his own.  If I do, in fact, tend to "look down"  on anyone,
it is those who needlessly (and futilely) troll/flame.

Unless you have the minimum or recommended processor for a given
program...dont insult the developers/product.
