N2 cars don't pit after race

At Martinsville I ran a race and at the end, several of the AI cars stayed
out on the track just stopped randomly here and there all over the place.
The game refused to end the race, even though everything said race over.  I
was running a 50% distance race at 100%, in a championship season.  I was
the winner, so I know for sure enough laps were done.  When I save and go
back to try and do something with it, I am now in the middle of a green
field and the game locks up. Anybody know what causes this?

What's the size of your field? When I race with 40 cars, this happens to
me sometimes. I've never seen it with a default size field.

I think it has to do with "overpacking" pit lane as the AI cars try to
pull in and there not being enough room. At least, that is my best
guess.

In your MRTNSVIL.TXT file what do you have the field size set to?  This
sounds like the problem some people where having at Sears Point when the
field size was too big for the available pit stalls.  I think
Martinsville only has room for 37 cars (including the human & the pace
car) in the sim.  It sounds like the 2 cars that stayed out after the
checkered were just pissed because they didn't have a pit stall to come
home too.
