Has anyone tried the touring car patch for N2 from The Pits? Is it as good
as they say? I would like to try it out however I haven't bought N2 yet (I
was hooked by the open wheel stuff first). On one of The Pits pages it says
the patch doesn't work with the Busch series version (I assume the add on
pack of tracks?). When I went to buy N2 it has been updated to Nascar 2
50th anniversary which includes the Busch tracks. Does it mean the patch
from The Pits won't work with "this" version?
I know this isn't the best topic for discussion but my emails to The Pits
have gone unanswered.

The NASCAR 50th Aniversary package is nothing more than a compilation of
the two together. As for the patch, I dunno, but if its anything like the

tried it yet is cause I don't ahve ICR2. If you don't have ICR2, I'd
suggest getting it (Although now its called CART, I dunnot if the CART
tracks will work with the Touring Car patch). Also, if you wanna install
it, I'd suggest installing it on another drive or another directory

I play with the TPTCC patch and it's a lot of fun ! The sound, the cars, and
handling are all different. If you want to try the TPTCC patch, and  the new
BGN expansion pack is on a separate CD.... then you should setup N2 in a
separate directory  and then update that version with the patches without
installing the BGN EP...then install the TPTCC in that directory.  Most of

own separate directory. FWIW, I run the CTS Supertruck patch runs well while
integrated with N2 w/ GNEP. The problem is these three main directories take
up  410 mb and hurts when you are running a smaller HD and trying to run
other sims. FWIW, I have enjoy lots of sims and I'm not great at any one Sim
but I'm having fun and thats what Counts !

  Not only DO the ICR2/CART tracks work with the Touring Car Patch...They
are almost a requirement.  You get two road courses with N2, there is a free
convertor that gives you the ability to convert about 3 ICR2\Cart tracks for
use
with the Touring cars...and for $15 bucks you'll get a convertor that
convers ALL the
ICR2/CART tracks and ...a convertor that does the once thought impossible,
convert
N2 tracks for use with ICR2/CART.
  The TPTCC patch is a great effort.  If you ever get tired of only turning
left...try the patch..
but hang on to your helmet...The touring car drivers are very insensitive to
your attempts
at smooth driving...glide into a corner too slow and they'll punt you off
out of the way...
New sounds, new car bodies, new drivers, the tptcc track has it
all....excellant work
