There is no real solution! It's a known drawback: The (beta-)opengl driver
(TNT cards don't support glide) you're using is in fact a copy of the one used
for quake (flame me if i'm wrong). It's not a full implementation of the
openGL standard however, they only implemented the parts needed to run Quake
properly. The mirroring effects were not taken into account. This explains
that at the moment mirror-effects need to be simulated the driver lacks
performance. If you switch to chase-view within GPL (pressing <F10>) you'll
notice an dramatic increase in fps due to the absence of mirrors.
