What is the frame rate?
If you're running at over 20 fps, you can lower it a little bit (1-2 frames)
and add the final details.
It'll be worth it.

I would rather have some mirror details *on*, and turn *off* the sky
as this really eats cpu cycles?

Other than that it should run fine? (it does on my k6 200 & 64Mb
sdram).

8?)

As far as castrol superbike, make sure that you have directx 5.0 installed.
You can find this on the internet, or if you buy those mags with the cds in
them like pc gamer, it is usually on the disk.  As far as occupancy, in the
graphics screen, make sure it says your estimated frame rate is over 25 fps.
If not, shut off stuff until it does.  Then, play the game, and check
occupancy.  If you see over 95 at all anywhere on the track, (particularly
on the starts, this is where processor is used the most.)  take more
graphics off.  I know you probably don't want to shut graphics off if you
don't have to, but this game must be played at a smooth frame rate to really
be appreciated, it is a completely different experience at 30fps than it is
at 15 fps.

Sky texture is the biggest processor-load.
