GPL 1.1 & Windows NT4 Joystick

Hello,

What is the secret to getting a three axis steering wheel (L/R, brake, and
throttle) set up for GPL in Windows NT4 SP5? GPL only seems to recognize two
out of the three no matter how I set the wheel up in NT (custom vs. 2 axis
controller with rudders).

If anyone has gotten this to work please let me know what the magic steps
are (short of using a single axis brake/throttle setup). If not I guess we
can add this to the list of GPL 1.1 disappointments.

I've got my rewired T2 to work on NT4 SP5 with split axis. Steerin joy A
horizontal ( X ), Throttle joy B vertical ( Y ) and Brake joy A vertical
( Y ). When i installed the analog joystick driver i selected joystick with
throttle or sometnih like this. Didn't change anything in controller setup,
just calibrated it and it works perfectly. BTW do you have 100% crash free
GPL 1.1 under NT. Which graphic card and which sound card are you using?

What axes (or whatever the plural of axis might be) is your setup
using? I seem to remember that some versions of Windows don't like it
when you skip an axis in your setup (i.e. use joy1-x, joy1-y, don't
use joy2-x, but use joy2-y again.) There was a workaround which
involved soldering in a 100kOhm resistor which fooled Windows into
believing that the missing input axis was indeed present. IIRC.
