compatibility with ff wheels

I am planning to buy a ff wheel w/pedals. First I thought the Microsoft
Sidewinder ff wheel would be my choice but after reading messages in this ng
I have doubts now..it seems that the Logitech wheel is preferred above the
Microsoft one.
Can anybody give me advice on these two. How about the games that are
supported ( I have Driver, NFSHS, Colin McRae, Midtown Madness...) by these
wheels ?
Any info appreciated..

Hello,
I am a little hurt that you didn't even mention our ACT LABS Force RS.
I am not going to do a sales pitch on you, but at least consider our
wheel with multi-platform compatibility, gear shifter support, metal
based pedal unit, independent peddle axes, STRONG force feedback
effects, and most of all, awesome service!!!!

Yep, but I am in The Netherlands, Europe and I've never seen an ACT product
down here, that's why I didn't mention it...
So don't feel hurt, after all I didn't shoot you...

Hello Ron,
Once again, I am hurt that someone is buying a wheel and not
considering our wheel, the ACT LABS Force RS.  I was a customer of ACT
LABS  before I was staff. And believe me, I am so anal, I tried all
three wheels and researched them to death before buying one.
I have NFSHS and Midtown Madness too.  The force feedback effects are
not that great on either of these games.  NFSHS seems to have gotten
some forces "reversed," while the effects in Midtown Madness are
virtually non-existent on all wheels.
The ACT LABS has the BIGGEST motor of the three (I have opened up all
of them) and therefore, has the strongest force effects.
One game you have to check out is Rally Championship.  That game
rocks!
While we're on the subject, does anyone else out there find the force
effects in NFS3 more "accurate" than NFSHS?

I saw this wheel at Fry's in Phoenix and was very impressed with the show
model, not that I got to try it or anything. Tell me this, does it work with
NASCAR3? Does it have USB capability? I suppose I could go look this up
myself, but since you're around...

Vic

The ACT wheel comes with a USB connector (a serial one too I think)
I just read a review on the web of N3 and the reviewer was using his ACT
Force RS (he said it worked great!)
I ordered my ACT Force RS last week + the RS shifter and it should be in
tommorrow!!!!!  I can't wait :)
