Tip re. MGPRS and Logitech Wingman Formula (not forcefeedback)

I bought a Logitech Wingman Formula, in January and I really love the
feel of it.  It is so precise compared to the Thrustmaster GP1 I had
before.

I play Monaco GPRS with it and have enjoyed it but I have been having
problems with wheelspin in 1st and 2nd gear.  I have been featherlight
on the throttle but nothing seemed to help.  The slightest touch and
the revs would hit the max.and stay there even after I took my foot
completely off the pedal.

Today I discovered how to get rid of the excess wheelspin.

I was in the Gamecontroller applet in the Controll Panel. and I
noticed the Combine Pedals tickbox.  I thought it was worth a try to
remove the tick thus separating the pedal axes.

Back in MGPRS I went to the configuration for the controlls and told
the game to use the new axes.  I started up the race and lo and behold
the wheelspin was gone (controllable).

So if you have been having trouble with wheelspin and been struggling
with it thinking how hard it is to drive a F1 car, give this a try.

I hope it helps Greg.  Be aware that not all games like the
configuration.  E.g. NFS III cannot tell the difference between the
pedals on that setting.  I feel the improvement is more than enough
for me to take the trouble to change between settings.
