Yup.  Switchable in software, but not foolproof.  I found it doesn't work in
GP2; you have to use combined axis there.  It seems to work fine everywhere
else(GPL, ICR2, NR1999, Viper, etc.).  Logitech is aware of that problem and I
hope they solve it, as GP2 is STILL one of the best sims out there.

According to Tom from Logitech, who posts on the Force-1.com message board
daily, a new patch will allow you to assign either separate or combined axis
for each game, rather than just globally as it is now.

The wheel can be programmed to single axis or separate axis mode via the
included driver and software.
