Logitech Wingman Formula Force Question

How long did it take for your wheel's cables to start squeaking?  It
took me, basically 4 laps of NFS3 before they started to chirp.  It's
not very loud, but annoying.  Does anyone have any "quick fixes" for
this problem?

Aside from this "slight" problem (and the pedal problem which I will fix
tomorrow), this wheel is incredible, it has everything that I've been
looking for:
    - USB support (huge deciding factor)
    - awesome grip on wheel
    - small desktop footprint
    - USB support
    - large F1 style shifter paddles
    - large base for pedals
    - cool colours!
    - USB support
    - very neat wiring

Now, I've got to pick up Viper Racing.

: I had mine since right before X-mas and don't have any squeaks.  And it's been
: thru a lot of GPL and Colin McRae Rally already.  According to a post at the
: forum in www.force-1.com by a Logitech employee, you can remove the steering
: wheel cover by removing the six silver screws.  Maybe do that and then put in a
: dab of grease.  But make sure you stop by the forum at that web site first to
: check the entire post.

After installing wingman software 3.11 the FF in Colin Mcrae Rally seized to
exist, in NFS3 the FF works fine still. No problem in test forces.
Has anybody else had this problem? I also tried the new patch for CMR
but still no difference between on/off for Force-Feedback.

Any tricks, workaround? would be appreciated.I've reinstalled CMR a couple of
times, but nothing helps!

/cheers Oscar

You should always have a look at http://www.wingmanteam.com. That's where
you find the releases first, before they make it to the official web or ftp
site.
