Can't get NR1999 to load the Sidewinder ff Wheel, went to the Sierra sight
and found out it does not
support FF. It didn't say that on the box, I spent  $200 for a Sidewinder FF
wheel and another $50 for
NR1999, spent all of X-mas trying to set it up, and for this. THANKS FOR
RUINING MY KIDS X-MAS
SIERRA!!! I hope you rot in HELL

Usually it says what it supports on the box, not what it doesn't
support.

The MS Wheel does WORK with NR1999. NR 1999 does not support force feedback.
That does not mean you can not use the MS FF wheel with NR1999.

Create a new profile with the sidewinder software. Under the settings tab of
your new profile, change the X-axis to combined and you should be all set.
Let me know if you have problems.

Nobody is going to say on the box: "We don't support force feedback".
However, the wheel does work in NASCAR Racing 1999 Edition and quite well
too. When calibrating it just switch the driver option from Papyrus to
DirectX.

Plus you also get two nice games in CPR and MTM2 (which your kids will
probably love) that come with the wheel.

EXCELLENT point!!  Besides, personally BEFORE spending 200 hard-earned
bucks on ONE game, I'd make sure it supported all the hardware I was buying.
That ALONE is why I'm waiting on FF.

You mean that it was out of site on the sight, or out of sight on the
site ?

It didn't said that FF was supported either.

Don't blame Sierra for your own mistakes.

Well to be fair the FF wheel will work with the Windows version
of NR1999. It is only a problem if you need to run the DOS version
for multiplayer ***. And the problem only seems to be with
N2/NR1999 because of some bullshit optimization they did for
online play.

Only in Windows the version, not in the DOS version or NROS.
