F12K2/GTR 2002 starting grid pan/delay

OK I like the grid girls as much as the next guy but I can't stand the
interminable wait as the camera goes around around the circuit and
then  ddddooooowwwwnnnn the grid to my lowly starting position. I've
got movies turned off but can't find the key anywhere listed in the
manual how to just get in the damn car and start the race.  With
35 car grids, it takes forever to get to my last position. Thx for any
help other than telling me to get on pole.  Won't happen.

Hit the space bar... it advances to race start for me

Hit 'spacebar' or change the values in your .PLR to "0" and you never
see it again.  Jumps right to the race.
