Ive seen in the N2 manual, that on the options/graphics screen that it
shows the option to "show framerate"
This does not appear on my screen. I am currious as to what rate the
screen is running at with different features turned on or off.
Where is it?

Also, is it common to have to recalibrate the joystick EVERY time you
start the game? (yes I still have a joystick for the time being :-(
).

Any help would be appreciated.

No, you shouldn't have to recalibrate every time. This might be an
indication of a problem in the joystick port electronics or the joystick
itself. Or it might just be something else... who knows. Can you tell I'm
grasping at straws? ;)
