N2 frame rate

N2 frame rate

I'm running my N2 on a Pentium 200, 64mb ram, and Diamond Stealth II
S220, using the rendition version of the game.  For the most parts,
the game runs fine.  However, I've noticed that whenever my car is in
the corner, the framerate would drop significantly.  Once I'm on the
straight, things seem to be running fine.  Any idea about how I can
fix this problem?  Thanks
