Wingman formula force problem, please help :(

by alex.. » Tue, 09 Jan 2001 03:06:38

I've just upgraded my system to Thunderbird and a
new motherboard MP-7VIP-AX2-2 (VIA KT133A
chipset). When I install my Wingman formula force
wheel (USB) driver under Windows 98 SE, my
computer locked up while trying to detect the
device. It used to work under my old machine with
Windows 98. Can anyone help me with the problem
as I really want play bad, please?

Thanks for any help :)

And get the latest VIA chipset drivers, especially the USB drivers as
without them, USB doesn't work.

Also make sure USB is turned on in the BIOS, if not, you might have to turn
it on and reinstall Windows.

Don't you need to install the drivers with the wheel disconnected the
connect it up later?
