a friend of mine wants to burn a copy of my n4 disc??  has anyone tried this??
will it work??? will it damage my original disc???   thanks in advance

Yes, your N4 disc will detect that it's being copied illegally and write
fatal errors into your original N4 cd.  This form of protection is included
in most games these days so avoid doing this at all costs.  It will also
cause damage to your cdrom drive and burner.

No sir, won't damage your cd.  Depending on how he does it, the copy may
not work on HIS machine (copy protection & all... haven't tried it
myself).  HTH

No, the FBI won't be knocking on your door but the fact that you post this
question on a atuo racing sim newsgroup is pretty stupid on your part.  The
people who make their living programming these games and the people who
support those people by spending their own money on their products (us) all
hang out here and it is pretty insulting for you to come in here and ask for
advice on how you can rip off these people.

Tell your friend that for a paultry $30, he can buy a copy with a manual AND
be able to race you online.
